William P. Morgan, Jr. founded Capital Management Group of the Carolinas, Inc. in 1990. Mr. Morgan graduated from Wake Forest University in 1985. He has completed post-graduate studies at the American College/Wharton School. He is a member of the Registry of Financial Consultants. William has been named to Who's Who in Finance and Industry for 1999, 2000, and 2001. He is currently the Honorary Co-Chairman of the U.S. Congressional Business Advisory Council. He was named a Top Wealth Manager in North Carolina by Bloomberg magazine in 2000. The Charlotte Business Journal has named CMG on the the Top 25 Stockbrokerage Firms in the Charlotte area every year since 1998. He was nominated for "Outstanding Advisor" for Registered Rep magazine for 2001-2002, 2003 and 2004; and, "Top 40 Under 40" for the Charlotte Business Journal for 2002 and 2003. William holds memberships in the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Philanthropic Planners.
